Using the Google Dragon to evaluate pages is easy! The system will evaluate the page and output a pretty report. Use it and the key of rules below to determine the effectiveness of your page.

Google Dragon Rules

Listed in the order of importance to us and how this tool uses them.

• The Page Title and Page Meta Description are highlighed
• The Heading 1, Heading 2, Heading 3 elements are highlighed
• The link text is highlighted.
• The alt and title attributes are highlighted.
• Watch for errors, !<deprecated elements>, ![deprecated attributes], warnings, informational and good messages
• Comments and the <script>, <style>, <noscript> and <noframes> Elements are not parsed for content analysis.
